2606RFP - General Contracting Services for Small Projects

The City of Daytona Beach is seeking proposals from licensed General Contractors to provide complete construction and general contracting services for a wide range of City projects on an as-needed basis. Individual projects under this solicitation will not exceed a total contract value of $470,000.00 per project. The City intends to award this Request for Proposals (RFP) to at least three (3) Contractors for an initial term of two (2) years, with three (3) additional one-year renewal options. • The Contractor will be responsible for the overall coordination, management, and completion of the projects, including adequate furnishing of all material, labor, equipment, tools, and services necessary to complete each project. • The Contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, and services necessary for each project. • Projects will be assigned as needed through the issuance of a formal Work Authorization and in conformance with the City’s internal policies and procedures. • The selected General Contractor's services include, but are not limited to: construction supervision/administration, new construction and/or renovation/retrofit construction, site or utility improvements, complete or selective demolition, exploratory work to locate/identify concealed conditions, construction cost estimating, coordinating with project consultants, permitting, inspection scheduling, securing the property, providing on-site temporary utilities, personnel management, disposing and/or recycling of construction waste, monitoring schedules, maintaining accurate records, and providing as-builts.
