Description
The West Campus Chiller Plant Upsize project involves the removal and replacement of existing cooling towers and chillers with new equipment, including related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection infrastructure. The project will be delivered through a multi-prime contract structure, with the General Construction Package being one of the prime contracts. The scope of work for the General Construction Package includes all necessary services, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and applicable taxes to complete the package as shown in the contract documents.
• The project is located at 1776 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
• The project is subject to a Delegation Agreement between Temple University, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, and the Governor's Office of the Budget.
• The General Construction Package is tentatively scheduled to be released for bid on November 20, 2025, with bids due on December 16, 2025.
