Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)

The North Kingstown School District is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the construction of a new Wickford Middle School. The proposed building will be built on the existing Wickford Middle School site and will provide a modern-day environment that will support 21st century education. The CMAR will be responsible for managing the construction process, including preconstruction, construction, and post-construction phases. The proposal should include a technical solution, a fee proposal, and other required documents. • The CMAR will be expected to carry BIM/VDC services in their contract. • A task flow analysis is required with each estimate during the preconstruction phase. • The Master Project Schedule should include data on costs and resources for Pre-construction through Post-Construction and project closeout stages. • The proposal should be submitted in one sealed envelope with one original, two copies, and one thumb drive. • The proposal should not exceed 30 pages, excluding certain documents such as covers, cover letters, and dividers.
