Description
The Outagamie County Highway Department is seeking an engineering consultant to design a single‑lane roundabout at the intersection of County Trunk Highway U and CTH S, replacing a two‑way‑stop configuration. The scope includes traffic data collection, preliminary and final design (plans, specs, cost estimates), utility coordination, environmental permitting, a public‑involvement meeting, and preparation of a right‑of‑way plat. The consultant must be on the current Roster of Eligible Engineering Consultants and demonstrate expertise in WisDOT roundabout design and rural roadway engineering. Deliverables are staged at 30 %, 60 %, 90 % and final (100 %) with the final design package due May 2030, after which construction will be let through WisDOT.
• Design services covering preliminary to final (PS&E) for a roundabout, roadway, bridge widening, storm‑sewer, signage, and pavement‑marking.
• Coordination with WisDOT, county agencies, utilities, and required environmental permits.
• One mandatory public‑involvement meeting and preparation of a traditional right‑of‑way plat (title search only).
