Seven (7) TYPE III Wildland Fire Fighting Trucks (Brush Trucks)

The United States Army is seeking to acquire seven (7) TYPE III Wildland Fire Fighting Trucks (Brush TRK) to support Army Fire Departments in Europe. The trucks must meet the requirements of NFPA 1900, NWCG National Wildfire Coordinating Group PMS 447-1, EN 1846, and DIN 14502. The contract consists of three major elements: the vehicle chassis, an apparatus body with a minimum 4,000l water tank, and firefighting equipment. The vehicle shall be equipped with a firefighting vehicle preparation package, all-wheel drive, and a fully automated clutch-operated transmission. The contractor will provide a comprehensive production plan, identify a project manager, and ensure availability of spare parts for a minimum of fifteen years. • The vehicle must meet European Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Department of Transport (DOT) Regulations. • The vehicle must comply with all applicable European occupational safety and health requirements. • The contractor must provide a service desk for warranty claims and ensure that all required repairs and maintenance visits are performed by a certified technician. • The contractor must provide documentation that proves all acceptance tests can be performed at their facility.
