Quinby Creek Maintenance Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Norfolk District is seeking eligible firms capable of performing maintenance dredging of Quinby Creek Channel in Accomack County, Virginia. The work consists of dredging approximately 200,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from the Federal channel. All material will be dredged by hydraulic cutter head pipeline dredge with the dredged material placed hydraulically within the overboard placement site in Upshur Bay. • The construction period of performance will be approximately 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). • The work will commence first with performance beginning within 15 calendar days of receipt of NTP. • The estimated construction price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. • NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, applies to this project. • The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. • Sources are sought for all interested firms with a NAICS code of 237990 with a small business size standard of $37,000,000.
