Twin Lakes Recreation Area - Parking Improvements

The City of Columbia, Missouri, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a contractor to provide materials and labor necessary for the demolition, milling, and overlay of the existing parking lot and the construction of a parking curb at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area. The contractor shall comply with the project specifications, including the provision of a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond. The project is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor shall provide materials, equipment, and labor that meet or exceed the project specifications. • The contractor shall secure all necessary licenses and permits before beginning work and keep necessary records as required. • The contractor shall be responsible for all existing underground, overhead facilities, structures, and utilities. • The contractor shall park, stage, and store all materials, tools, equipment, etc. in an area approved by the City representative. • The contractor shall be responsible for providing and placement of barricades, tarps, plastic, flag tape, and other safety/traffic control equipment required to protect its employees, the public, surrounding areas, equipment, and vehicles.
