Description
This RFP seeks a qualified general contractor to completely replace the roof of the Nenahnezad Chapter House in New Mexico. The work includes demolition of the existing roof system (including HVAC, ductwork, wiring, and gas lines), repair of the roof deck, installation of a new metal roof system (≈ 7,650 sf), and all related flashing, waterproofing, and coordination with mechanical/electrical systems. The contractor must provide all necessary licenses, bonds, insurance, and a 10 % bid guarantee (contract expected to exceed $50 k). A mandatory site visit must be completed before proposal submission, and all proposals are to be submitted in sealed physical envelopes by July 15, 2026.
• Remove existing roof, HVAC units, ductwork, electrical wiring, and gas lines.
• Repair/replace roof deck plywood as needed and install self‑sealing ice‑and‑water shield plus synthetic underlayment.
• Install commercial‑grade steel standing‑seam metal roofing with full flashing, ridge caps, trim, and associated accessories.
• Provide performance and payment bonds, required insurance, and a 10 % bid guarantee; complete work within 365 calendar days of notice to proceed.
