12” WATERLINE EXTENSION ALONG NORTH GIROUARD ROAD FROM SWACO WAY TO JARED DRIVE FOR THE CITY OF BROUSSARD

The City of Broussard is seeking qualified contractors to install a new 12‑inch waterline extending approximately 2,690 linear feet along North Girouard Road, from Swaco Way to Jared Drive. The work must be completed within a 90‑day calendar schedule and will require bidders to provide the standard bid, performance, and payment bonds (each at least 100 % of the contract price, with the bid bond set at 5 % of the bid). A mandatory pre‑bid conference is scheduled for April 30, 2026; attendance is required for all prospective bidders. Detailed construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents are available for inspection at the city hall and at Comeaux Engineering & Consulting, with a $150 reproduction fee. Bids are sealed and must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. on June 3, 2026.
