Description
Gatesville ISD is soliciting proposals from qualified fire alarm contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, programming, testing, and commissioning required for the installation of a new fire alarm and voice evacuation system at the Primary Campus. The proposed system shall be a fully addressable, code-compliant fire alarm system with voice evacuation capabilities designed in accordance with all applicable NFPA standards, local codes, and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
• The scope of work shall include, but not be limited to, fire alarm control panels, remote annunciators, initiating devices, notification appliances, voice evacuation components, wiring, programming, testing, training, and final documentation.
• Bidders shall include all necessary labor and materials for a complete and operational system.
• Gatesville ISD will provide the following: 120VAC dedicated circuits for all fire alarm control panels, amplifiers, and remote power supplies, man lift/scissor lift access for ceilings over 10 feet, conduit pathways for fire alarm panels, and conduit pathways and backboxes for wall-mounted fire alarm devices in the gymnasium.
