Moving services RFP

Eaton Rapids Public Schools is seeking a moving services provider to relocate furniture and classroom supplies for the 5th grade, 2nd grade, Kindergarten, and ChildCare classrooms. The selected provider will be responsible for moving materials from one school to another, including desks, chairs, and other equipment. The provider will also be required to pack and unpack materials, disassemble and reassemble furniture, and provide storage services as needed. The move is expected to take place over several days in June, with a specific timeline provided in the statement of work. The provider will be required to have the necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to complete the move efficiently and safely. • The move will involve relocating materials from five different schools, including Middle School, Greyhound Intermediate School, Lockwood Elementary School, Greyhound Central Elementary School, and Union Street Center. • The provider will be required to provide a lump sum price for the moving services, including all costs associated with labor, materials, taxes, and insurance. • The provider will be required to have the necessary insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, general liability, and automobile liability insurance. • The provider will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the move, including the location of all materials and equipment.
