Description
The City of Bonner Springs, Kansas, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct a shelter at Center Park. The project includes the construction of a concrete slab, sidewalks, assembly of a prefabricated shelter, installation of an electrical system, and all incidental and related work necessary to provide a complete project. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed within 45 working days.
• The project requires the contractor to provide bid security in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by a surety.
• The contractor must also provide insurance and bond requirements, including general liability and workmen's compensation insurance, and a statutory bond if the awarded bid is greater than $100,000.
• The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in any bid.
• The contract will be awarded to the bidder whose bid is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
