Description
The Borough of Berwick, Pennsylvania is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide full‑service professional engineering support for individual infrastructure projects funded by its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program from October 2026 through September 2028. Services include design, permitting, bid preparation, construction administration, and final close‑out for each project, with compensation based on hourly rates submitted on a Standard Engineering Estimate. The contract will be awarded on a per‑project basis, and bidders must meet minimum MBE/WBE participation and Section 3 labor goals.
• Scope covers multidisciplinary design (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) and construction management for CDBG‑funded projects.
• Proposals must be submitted in three sealed copies by 1:00 PM on September 25, 2026; no electronic or fax submissions are accepted.
• Engineers must provide hourly rate schedules, insurance proof, references, and MBE/WBE/Section 3 commitment statements.
