Grounds Mowing and Trimming - Parks

The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for landscaping contractors to handle the grounds mowing and trimming at various park properties in Escambia County. The properties are broken down into 15 zones, inclusive of neighborhood parks, athletic parks, boat ramps, and community centers. The contractor will be responsible for mowing, edging, string trimming, litter control, and debris removal in turf areas. The contract is for 12 months, with options to renew for two additional 12-month periods. • The contractor must have experience in landscaping and athletic field maintenance. • The contractor must provide equipment and personnel to perform the work. • The contractor must have liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide a weekly report to the Escambia County Parks and Recreation Department personnel on the previous week’s activities and next week’s planned schedule.
