Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Dillard Engines Service

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District, intends to solicit a contract for maintenance and service on two CAT ACERT C032 Marine Engines with a certified Caterpillar marine technician/mechanic. The contractor must be able to comply with all requirements described in the scope of work, including replacing extended life coolant, checking and cleaning engine speed/timing sensors, and providing a condition found report. The work shall be performed at the vessel's berth in Sausalito, CA, and the contractor must coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on an Activity Hazard Analysis. The payment will be processed after a successful sea trial with no observed leaks, overheating, or other unsatisfactory performance. • The contractor must have a certified Caterpillar marine technician/mechanic. • The contractor must be able to replace extended life coolant and perform other tasks listed in the scope of work. • The contractor must be able to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor must be able to provide a condition found report and a certified Caterpillar marine technician/mechanic for a sea trial. • The work shall be performed between 6AM and 4PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
