The Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services is seeking a contractor to provide automated microbial identification and susceptibility testing. The contractor will be required to provide a Vitek 2XL and a Vitek MS Prime, as well as reagents and consumables for the equipment. The government currently owns a Vitek 2XL and a Virtuo instrument, but is seeking to add a new Vitek MS Prime and replace the existing Vitek 2XL and Virtuo instruments in the future. * The contractor will be responsible for providing equipment and reagents for automated microbial identification and susceptibility testing. * The government is seeking a cost-per-test agreement for the Vitek 2XL and Vitek MS Prime. * The contractor will be required to provide reagents compatible with the government-owned Virtuo instrument. * The contractor will be responsible for validating and verifying the equipment and reagents.
