Description
The City of Claxton is seeking bids for the construction of Pine Street Drainage Improvements. The project includes the installation of a 45 LF 5’x3’ triple box culvert, headwalls, wingwalls, aprons, rip-rap, asphalt replacement, 24” curb and gutter, 3”x11” concrete flume, silt fence, turbidity curtain, temporary and permanent grassing, erosion sediment control blanket, stream bypass, road signs, and striping. The time allotted for completion of work is sixty calendar days.
• The project is funded by the City of Claxton and FEMA.
• Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid.
• The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
• The contractor shall comply with E-Verify regulations.
