Description
Rowan University seeks a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive testing, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance on its medium‑voltage (5 kV and 15 kV) electrical infrastructure across three campuses (Glassboro, CMSRU, and Camden Academic Building). The work follows ANSI/NETA standards, requires rapid emergency response, and must be performed largely outside normal academic hours. The contractor will deliver detailed NETA‑style reports, maintain on‑site binders, and provide annual summary documents.
• Perform NETA‑MTS testing, infrared inspections, torqueing, cleaning, and repair of transformers, switchgear, protective relays, battery arrays, and associated ancillary equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls within 1 hour and non‑emergency calls within 4 hours; provide coverage during evenings, early mornings, weekends, and academic breaks.
• Supply yearly service reports (hard‑copy binder + PDF) and a consolidated five‑year summary with recommendations and cost estimates.
• Bill on a flat hourly rate (all labor, travel, insurance, overhead included) with invoices paid within 30 days of acceptance; no travel or lodging reimbursement except for emergency calls during normal hours.
• Contract runs FY27 (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027) with optional one‑year extensions through FY31, subject to budget approval.
