LARGE SCALE INFRASTRUCTURE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS: MUNICIPAL WATER, STORMWATER AND WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE [PREVENTATIVE AND CORRECTIVE]

The City of Mount Vernon is seeking a contractor to provide large scale infrastructure capital improvements for municipal water, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure maintenance, including preventative and corrective construction maintenance. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision for the work. The scope of work includes sanitary sewer system cleaning, televising/inspecting, testing, diagnosis, installation, repair, and replacement, as well as lead and non-lead water service line replacement, water main appurtenance work, and temporary and permanent potable water connections. The contractor will also be responsible for traffic control and pavement restoration. • Preventative maintenance services include regular inspections, camera (CCTV) inspections, cleaning and flushing, and repairs. • Corrective maintenance services include sewer line and structure repair, pipeline rehabilitation, pump station repairs, and pavement restoration. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances, including the City's engineering specifications and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). • The contractor must also maintain accurate daily work records, provide documentation required for regulatory reporting, and comply with the City's sequencing, restoration, inspection, and acceptance protocols.
