On-Call Tree Removal and Vegetation Management Services

The County of Butte Department of Public Works is seeking one or more qualified firms to provide on-call tree removal services, including tree removal, tree trimming, stump grinding, vegetation management, and arborist services. The selected firm will provide these services on an as-needed basis, with a contract term of three years and an option to extend for an additional two years. The contract will have a not-to-exceed contract maximum of $250,000. Key responsibilities of the selected firm will include: • Emergency tree removals during storm or emergency events • Scheduled tree removals and tree trimming • Vegetation management, including mowing and brush clearing within County right-of-ways • Arborist services, including tree risk assessments and tree pruning The firm will be required to have a valid California State Contractors License and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements.
