Description
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is soliciting licensed contractors to provide Design/Build services for the renovation and refurbishment of staff quarters and associated utility systems at various locations. The project involves modernizing and bringing the buildings into compliance with current building codes. The contractor will be responsible for providing supervision, labor, equipment, materials, insurance, and transportation to complete the project. The solicitation is a Small Business Set-aside, and each project will be evaluated and awarded separately.
• The project includes the renovation of staff quarters at Mariano Lake, Crownpoint, Pueblo Pintado, Jeehdeez'a, Kayenta, Tuba City, and Greyhills Academy.
• The contractor must provide a price schedule, response to evaluation factors, and a bid bond to be considered for award.
• The project requires the contractor to detail all proposed work in the project design documents and submit them to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval.
• The contractor is responsible for demolition, abatement of hazardous materials, and disposal of construction debris.
