Cedar Falls Park – Parking Lot Improvements

The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking bids for the Cedar Falls Park – Parking Lot Improvements project. The project involves providing a durable parking surface, clean tie-ins to existing pavement, and clear, compliant striping for park users. The scope of work includes milling in place and fine-grading existing gravel and subgrade areas, paving 2.5" of I19.0C Binder Course Hot Mix Asphalt, and applying tack coat between asphalt layers. The project also includes installing approximately one hundred new concrete wheel stops, striping approximately one hundred and fifty-three parking spaces, and painting approximately eighteen traffic arrows. The town is looking for a contractor with extensive experience performing municipal paving and sitework projects throughout the Triangle. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference, which will be held on April 7, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Cedar Falls Park Parking Lot. • The bid submission deadline is April 24, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. EST. • The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities therein. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder taking into consideration quality, performance references, and the time specified in the proposal for the performance of the contract.
