South Pass City State Historic Site Roof Replacements - State Parks & Cultural Resources

The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources, is seeking bids for the South Pass City State Historic Site Roof Replacement project. The project involves replacing roofing on three buildings: Williams House, Dance Hall, and School. The contractor will be responsible for any permits and fees associated with the project, as well as site cleanup and disposal. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM MT. The deadline for submitting questions is May 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM MT, and the deadline for submitting bids is June 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM MT. • The project requires the replacement of existing wood shingle roofing with new #1 Grade Western Red Cedar Shingles. • The contractor must use Titanium UDL 30 underlayment or approved equal and Grace Ice and Water Shield or approved equal on eaves and lower pitched roof sections. • The contractor must also use Cedar Breather Roof Ventilation Mat beneath new shingles. • The total project size is approximately 50.5 squares, including waste factor. • The contractor is responsible for field verification prior to submitting a bid. • The project has a one-year workmanship warranty period. • The contractor must comply with the Wyoming Prevailing Wage Act of 1967 and pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages for work under this bid.
