Professional Engineering Services for Hickory Flat Highway Gateway Concept Transportation Improvements

The City of Canton is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide full professional engineering services for the Hickory Flat Highway Gateway Concept Plan Transportation Improvements. The scope includes design and engineering of a new vehicular bridge replacement, three new roundabouts, road realignment and widening, and pedestrian/bicycle improvements, all consistent with surrounding neighborhood character. The consultant will be responsible for data collection, geotechnical investigations, environmental permitting, detailed design (concept, 50 %, 90 %, and final), coordination with the City and other agencies, preparation of cost estimates, and acting as Engineer of Record during construction. • Design of bridge, roundabouts, roadway realignment, widening, and associated utilities. • Preparation of surveys, geotechnical reports, environmental studies, permits, and phased design documents. • Ongoing coordination, City‑Council presentations, monthly reporting, and construction‑phase support as Engineer of Record.
