Tabor Autotransformer De-Tanking, Inspection and Testing

This bid seeks a qualified contractor to perform complete de‑tanking, inspection, testing, and refurbishment of a 168 MVA, 138 kV three‑phase auto‑transformer located at BTU’s Tabor Substation. The contractor must mobilize, remove oil, conduct extensive electrical and mechanical testing, replace bushings and gaskets, pressurize and vacuum‑fill the unit, and provide detailed test reports and a final service report. All work must be finished by June 2027 and will be paid on a monthly percent‑completion basis with a 20 % contingency included in the contract amount.
