Horizontal Electromagnetic Pulse System Upgrade Sole Source Notice

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate a sole‑source contract with Fisica Applied Technologies, Inc. to upgrade the existing horizontal polarized High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse System (HEMPS). The upgrade will modify the system to meet the newer MIL‑STD‑2169D testing requirements for the early‑time (E1) component of high‑altitude EMP environments.
