Overhead Bridge Crane System

The Department of the Air Force is seeking to purchase overhead bridge crane systems. The systems must meet specific requirements, including a 1-ton or 2-ton capacity, variable frequency drive motor, and nominal coarse bridge travel speed of 75 FPM. The cranes must also have a radio remote control transmitter and receiver, and the vendor must provide interconnect schematics, installation manuals, and operating manuals. The crane system must meet the requirements of ANSI specification MH27.1 and CMAA Class "C" indoor use. The project includes the purchase of seven 1-ton bridge cranes and associated chain hoists. • The crane system must have a maximum bridge weight of 5000 lbs (not including hoist and trolley). • The crane must have a rigid track with flat cable festooning system and rubber bumpers on end trucks. • The crane must have a variable frequency drive motor and nominal coarse bridge travel speed of 75 FPM. • The crane must have a radio remote control transmitter and receiver with 3-motion, start button, and operator-controlled warning horn. • The vendor must provide design drawings and specifications for approval prior to starting production. • The crane system must meet the requirements of ANSI specification MH27.1 and CMAA Class "C" indoor use.
