The City of Garland is seeking a contractor to construct an underground riser and install conduits for fiber installation. The contractor will be responsible for installing mule tape in the conduits and furnishing and installing a polymer box at the conduit intersection. The owner will install fiber, terminate, and replace the existing underground fiber. The key requirements of the project include: • Constructing an underground riser at pole OL1-BD-01 • Installing two conduits from OL1-BD-01 to the existing OL1-BD dead-end structure • Installing mule tape in the conduits • Furnishing and installing an Oldcastle polymer 2436 box at the conduit intersection • Capturing the existing fiber conduit to the cable trench The contractor must provide a complete and organized response, including a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% and a Payment, Performance, and Maintenance Bond upon award.
