Boundless Journey Adventure Park Phase 2

The City of Farmington is seeking a general contractor to construct the Boundless Journey Adventure Park Phase 2, a 1.14-acre all-abilities park. The project includes demolition, grading, concrete pavement, concrete retaining walls, play equipment, play area surfacing, irrigation, planting, landscape mulches, site furnishings, and site electrical and lighting. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and other related items required to complete the project. The project is funded by grants and must follow grant requirements. • The project includes multiple sections, including a Nature Engagement Area, North Walk and Pollinator Area, Fitness Equipment and Turfgrass, Play Equipment Mesa and Stage Area, Riparian Area, and Dog Park Area. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to labor, employment, and environmental protection. • The contractor must also provide a performance bond and a labor, material, and tax payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The project has a estimated construction cost of $3,576,014 for the base bid, with additive alternates valued at $270,015 and $118,807.
