Description
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) is seeking qualified firms to provide on‑call environmental abatement services for its public housing portfolio. The work covers identification, remediation, packaging, transport, and disposal of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead‑based paint, and mold across twelve multi‑family developments. Contracts will be awarded on a one‑year base with four optional one‑year extensions, allowing a maximum term of five years. Vendors must hold appropriate state licenses (C‑22 asbestos, EPA lead‑safe certifications, hazardous waste hauler license), be registered in SAM and with the California DIR, and comply with the Build America, Buy America Act and federal Davis‑Bacon wage rules. Proposals are due October 7, 2026; questions are due September 14, 2026.
