The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking qualified architectural/engineering firms to design and administer the replacement of the main electrical switch and campus‑wide distribution system at the Dayton Correctional Institution. The scope includes full‑service design, construction‑administration, on‑site oversight, and post‑construction close‑out, with a required minimum on‑site presence of eight hours per week during construction. The project budget is $4 M total, with $3.4 M allocated to construction and an estimated professional services fee of roughly 8.5‑9 % of construction cost. Firms must be licensed in Ohio, demonstrate experience with correctional facilities, electrical power distribution, and meet the State’s EDGE participation requirement (5 % of the A/E fee).
