Budget estimate

$480,000 – $960,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the hourly rate and the total number of hours expected to be worked. The document mentions that the total expected number of hours is approximately 960 hours per year, which is equivalent to 20 hours per week for 48 weeks. Assuming an hourly rate of $100-200 per hour, which is a reasonable range for a senior nuclear physicist, the total budget for the contract could be estimated to be between $96,000 and $192,000 per year. The total budget for the five-year contract period could be estimated to be between $480,000 and $960,000. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the hourly rate, the total number of hours worked, and the level of experience and expertise of the candidate.
