Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for ARC Project(s)

The Town of DeKalb is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for work related to the implementation of approved FY2025 ARC project(s). The scope of work includes preparing project cost estimates, plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and contract execution, and performing construction inspection. The Town encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates and providing all engineering services through project closeout. • The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and contract execution, and performing construction inspection. • Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the language "Proposal for ARC Engineering Services." • The Town reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals. • The contract will be awarded to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest number of cumulative points issued by the selection committee and determined to be the most advantageous to the Town, price and other factors considered.
