RFP: TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION FOR SECURITY GUARD TRAINING PROGRAM

The Westchester Educational Opportunity Center is seeking a qualified instructor to provide instruction for their Security Guard training program. The program must be delivered in accordance with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) guidelines. The instructor will be responsible for effectively delivering instruction, providing a student-centered environment, and submitting required documentation. The term of the agreement will be for a period commencing on or about July 1, 2026, and expiring on or about June 30, 2029. Key aspects of the job include: • Delivering instruction for the Security Guard Training program • Providing a student-centered environment • Submitting required documentation • Supervising and assisting students with completing the NYS Security Guard application form • Collecting completed applications and proof of fingerprinting and submitting them to the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS) Licensing Services
