RFP 2-26-05 HLMP Lift Station Resiliency Improvements

The City of Key Colony Beach is seeking proposals to enhance the resiliency of its HLMP wastewater lift stations. The work includes relocating existing lift‑station control panels, replacing and upgrading control panels, elevating equipment above flood levels, extensive electrical modifications, telemetry upgrades, float‑system replacements, and coordinating meter relocations with the local electric cooperative. All labor, materials, equipment, testing, and restoration are required. • Relocate ten existing wastewater lift‑station control panels on power poles and replace two panels. • Install new control panels at least one foot above the FEMA 100‑year flood elevation and perform comprehensive electrical upgrades (conductors, conduit, demarcation boxes, telemetry). • Replace float systems and coordinate relocation of ten electric meters with Florida Keys Electric Cooperative; provide full labor, materials, testing, and restoration.
