The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance and service for the DxM 1040 MicroScan WalkAway instrument at the West Texas VA Health Care System. The contractor will be required to provide one preventative maintenance and service per 12-month term, and must be a Certified Beckman Coulter Field Service Engineer or an authorized third party. The scope of work includes replacement of parts, live technical phone support, and on-site planned maintenance service. The contractor will also be required to provide a written service report after each service call or scheduled maintenance. Key responsibilities include: • Providing preventative maintenance and service for the DxM 1040 MicroScan WalkAway instrument • Replacing parts and providing live technical phone support • Performing on-site planned maintenance service • Providing a written service report after each service call or scheduled maintenance • Complying with Federal laws, regulations, and VA Directives and Handbooks regarding information and information system security • Abiding by all facility requirements in regard to screening and masking requirements
