The Lynnfield Water District is seeking proposals for the replacement of approximately 1,490 water meters with automated meter reading (AMR) capabilities. The project includes the furnishing of water meters, encoder registers, radio frequency (RF) modules, data collection hardware, head-end software, integration with the billing system, training on software/hardware, and professional services for a fully functional AMR system. The installation of water meters, encoder registers, and AMR modules will be performed by a separate meter installation contractor. The owner's program goals include meter-reading accuracy, metering operations efficiency, standardization of meter sizes/connections, and controlling and maintaining low annual operating costs. Proposals must be submitted by February 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
