Description
This IFB calls for a comprehensive roof replacement and associated minor building repairs at the South Barn of the Fortuna Maintenance Station in Humboldt County. The contractor must remove existing roofing, replace damaged roof beams, install a fully‑adhered TPO roofing system with appropriate insulation, cover board, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and walk‑pads, and perform interior restroom touch‑ups and miscellaneous repairs. All work must meet California Building Standards Code wind‑load and fire‑rating requirements and include a 20‑year material warranty.
• Replace ~4,200 sf of roof with fully‑adhered TPO membrane, R‑21 insulation, and DensDeck cover board.
• Install new 24‑ga aluminum gutters, downspouts, and 36‑in‑wide walk‑pads (~570 lf).
• Provide interior restroom refurbishment, siding repairs, and any unforeseen work at a pre‑approved rate.
• Deliver all required permits, insurance, bonds, and documentation; comply with prevailing‑wage, DVBE, and organic‑waste recycling mandates.
