Description
The Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Atlantic is seeking information on industry capability to provide mobile boat hoists for the Yokose Fuel Terminal at US Fleet Activities, Sasebo, Japan. The notice seeks information on the availability of commercially available products that meet the requirements specified in the notice. The mobile boat hoists shall be designed, fabricated, tested, shipped, reassembled, and made ready for use at the specified location.
• The mobile boat hoists shall have a capacity of 150 metric tons and 300 metric tons.
• The mobile boat hoists shall be designed to accommodate intended loads to be lifted without the use of a spreader beam.
• The hook blocks shall be mounted directly on the forward and aft transverse beams.
• The mobile boat hoists shall be built to the design drawings of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• The mobile boat hoists shall be commercially available products.
• The respondents are encouraged to provide information on their capability to provide both capacities to assist the Government in its final capacity determination.
