Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to lease a portable, self-contained, diesel motor driven 20,000 PSI, 20 GPM Ultra High Pressure (UHP) water jet system with support services, including start-up, commissioning, training, preventative maintenance, and weekly equipment inspections. The system must meet specific technical requirements, including operating pressure, flow rate, and ambient temperature range. The contractor will be responsible for providing the equipment, labor, and services necessary to perform the work. Key considerations include the ability to meet the technical requirements, adherence to schedule and mobilization, and price.
• The UHP water jet system must be suitable for outdoor operation with an ambient operating temperature range of -10°F to 110°F.
• The system must have an operator control panel with warning displays and an emergency stop button.
• The contractor must provide start-up and commissioning services, including energizing equipment, pressurizing the system, and performing leak checks.
• The contractor must provide training sessions to Shipyard Personnel on the operation and setup of the equipment.
• The contractor must provide preventative maintenance and weekly inspections of the equipment during the contract period.
