Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide garage maintenance services for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) medical campus in New Orleans, LA. The services include mechanical sweeping, pressure washing, parking striping, trash and debris removal, and structural member inspection and minor maintenance. The contractor will be required to perform these services for two parking garages, Building # 4 Staff Parking and Building # 5 Patient Parking. The period of performance is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027, with two option years.
Some key requirements include:
* Providing a list of points of contact for the garage maintenance
* Performing quarterly inspections and maintenance
* Submitting reports and logs of services performed
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
* Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA and VA safety policies.
