Presolicitation Notice for Draeger service maintenance at U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking a contractor to provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for Draeger medical equipment at the U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy. The contractor will be required to provide two scheduled preventive maintenance visits per year, as well as unlimited on-site corrective repairs during normal business hours. The contractor must also provide replacement parts, technical modifications, and travel necessary to maintain the equipment in proper operating condition. The period of performance will be a 12-month base year followed by four 12-month option periods. Key points to consider: • The contractor must have fully qualified engineers and technicians who have gone through Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or comparable third-party service schools for the equipment. • The contractor must provide a schedule for maintenance visits within 15 days of contract award. • The contractor must respond to emergency notifications within 24 working hours. • The contractor must ensure that original design and functional capabilities are not changed, modified, or altered unless authorized in writing. • The contractor must provide suitable OEM recommended repair equipment/tools required for repairs at no additional cost to the Government.
