Scrap Metal Recycling Services

The City of El Paso is soliciting bids for scrap metal recycling services for the Environmental Services department. The successful bidder will provide landfill, citizen collections sites, and scrap vehicle pick up. The Greater El Paso Landfill is located at 2600 Darrington Rd., and citizen collection sites are located throughout the city. • The contract will require the provision of scrap metal recycling services for a period of 120 days. • The City reserves the right to adjust the schedule of events as necessary. • Bidders must submit their bids on the prescribed form, and failure to furnish required documentation will result in the bid being deemed incomplete and non-responsive. • The City may accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid based on the tabulation of any one, combination, or all of the base bid, alternate bid, and/or optional bid. • The contract will include provisions for payment terms, safety and capacity inspections, and contract performance.
