Description
The City of Salina is seeking an engineering consulting firm to evaluate, design, and provide construction‑phase support for the replacement of three deteriorated culverts on Fairdale Road. The scope includes hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, design of new culvert structures, preparation of construction documents, easement acquisition, and utility coordination, with an emphasis on meeting a tight design schedule.
• Perform updated drainage studies and design alternatives for three 28‑in × 40‑in CMP culverts.
• Produce construction‑ready plans, specifications, and assist with temporary and permanent easement acquisition.
• Coordinate utility relocations, manage downstream hydraulic impacts, and assess potential retaining‑wall modifications.
• Deliver all design deliverables by early April 2027, supporting the downstream construction timeline.
