Description
The State Highway Administration is seeking to renew Visix Software to be used with Visix media players across all MDOT SHA. The service allows MDOT SHA Office of Communications to share social media feeds and information on current agency campaigns, benefiting employees with streamlined information sharing. The contract requires the provision of COTS software, installation and training services, and manufacturer's software warranty/maintenance. The award will be made to a responsible and responsive vendor whose bid is determined to be the most advantageous to the State, considering price and evaluation factors. Key requirements include conformance with the scope of work, provision of product specifications, and compliance with COMAR 21.05.13.06.
• The contract is limited to Master Contractors awarded a contract under the Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software (COTS 2012) contract.
• The contract requires the provision of a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the manufacturer or distributor.
• The contract requires the provision of a screenshot of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) with the bid.
• The contract requires the Master Contractor to be an authorized reseller for the manufacturer.
• The contract requires the provision of pricing valid for at least 90 days after the set due date.
