PFAS testing

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is seeking a contractor to provide analytical testing services to analyze per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in textile samples. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the testing services. The testing will include Total Organic Fluorine (TOF) analysis, and if necessary, further testing to identify and quantify PFAS compounds. The contractor will be required to maintain confidentiality and follow ISO/IEC 17025 standards. * Key aspects of the job include: * Analyzing textile samples for PFAS content * Providing testing services for a firm-fixed price * Maintaining confidentiality and following ISO/IEC 17025 standards * Submitting analytical results within 30 days of receipt of samples * Providing a description of the test methods and procedures used * Identifying and quantifying PFAS compounds in textile samples
