IFB 33-5059 - METALLIC and NON-METALLIC SCRAP SALE, FAIRBANKS, AK

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services is offering a three-year term contract for the purchase of metallic and non-metallic scrap. The contract includes the sale of scrap material located at or near DLA Disposition Services Fairbanks, AK. The scrap material will be categorized into Standard Waste and Scrap Classification (SCL) codes, and the Government guarantees to issue the Purchaser a minimum total weight equal to the "Minimum Guaranteed QTY (LBS.)" identified per SCL listed in Table 1. The Purchaser will be expected to pay the Unit Bid Price for each Item upon removal based on weight. Key aspects of the job include: • Purchasing and removing scrap material from various locations in Alaska • Sorting and segregating materials according to SCL codes • Complying with environmental regulations and guidelines • Coordinating with the Sales Point of Contact (SPOC) for removal requests and scheduling • Ensuring the safe handling and transportation of materials
