R--NY01 - USGS Precipitation Sample Collection at NADP - NTN Site NY01

The USGS is seeking a contractor to operate a precipitation collection station at the NADP/NTN site NY01. The contractor will be responsible for weekly site visits to collect, process, and ship precipitation samples, as well as perform routine instrument checks, maintenance, and repairs as needed. The contract is for a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The USGS intends to award the contract to Alfred University, but vendors are invited to contact the Contracting Officer to express their interest in providing the same service. • The contractor will be responsible for operating a field-located precipitation collection station. • The contractor will be required to make weekly site visits to collect, process, and ship precipitation samples. • The contractor will be responsible for performing routine instrument checks, maintenance, and repairs as needed. • The contract is for a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods.
