Description
The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified contractor to clean, strip (if needed), and apply a protective wax finish to terrazzo flooring in multiple restroom areas across Bell Gardens High School. The work includes preparation, floor cleaning, wax removal, application of at least four coats of slip‑resistant wax, and final inspection. Work must be performed in non‑school hours, comply with OSHA and district safety policies, and meet all licensing, insurance, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Scope covers restroom terrazzo floors in the “B” Building, Library Building, Football Field Stadium, Big Gym, and Auditorium.
• Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision; use approved terrazzo‑compatible products; and follow a four‑coat wax application process.
• Minimum qualifications: 3 years terrazzo cleaning/waxing experience, three recent references, valid California contractor’s license, required insurance, and compliance with SB 854 prevailing‑wage rules.
