FIRE LIGHTS

The County of Kern is seeking quotations for the purchase of 11 new and unused 54" Whelan Liberty II WCX DUO Lightbars with options. The lightbars must meet specific specifications, and no substitutions will be accepted. Vendors must submit their bids by April 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. PST. The County reserves the right to award the contract to one or multiple vendors. • The lightbars must be 54" Whelan Liberty II WCX DUO with options, model BJ2DDDD-KPT2. • The lightbars must include specific components, such as prewired GTT 795 with two TIRE Super LED takedown lights and Super Linear LED Flasher, Long Red/White. • Vendors must submit their bids online or by hand delivery to the Kern County Purchasing department. • The County offers a local vendor preference for vendors within 5% of non-local vendors. • The awarded vendor must provide a W9 with their tax ID and billing information before a Kern County Purchase Order can be issued.
